I am a habitual squirrel shooter. My habit started three years ago when I needed to guard our many bird feeders. Yes, I am married and my wife approves of this message. I keep a record of all my kills. I have a friend in Ohio who keeps records of his kills on a computer spreadsheet. He was into the hundreds when he lost his hard drive. He did not loose his own drive, however. He shoots from an open kitchen window, steadying his elbow on the window sill or sometimes while relaxing in an armchair nearby. When he told his cousin, also a squirrel shooter, about this method the cousin decided to try it. One morning the cousin sat in his chair waiting for the squirrels. When one appeared he snatched his nearby gun and fired but he had forgotten to open the window. So, be careful.
